Low maintenance coating to keep your deck looking amazing for much longer
All Lifewood decking is sealed with 3 layers of Woodoc Water-Borne penetrating sealer.
The first coat penetrates and binds with the wood, while the second and third coats add extra layers of protection ensuring your deck will keep its natural appeal and stand the test of time.
The tough, durable finish is non-yellowing and maintains the original colour. It dries fast and lasts for years.
The Woodoc 3 Coat Sealer System
Coat 1
The first coat of Woodoc Sealer penetrates, binds with the wood and nourishes it.
Coat 2
The second coat penetrates, binds with the first and starts the surface finish.
Coat 3
The third coat binds with the first two and completes the protection of the wood with the surface finish required – matte, semi-gloss.
Why Wood Needs Protection
When trees are felled and turned into timber the bark needs replacing to protect the wood and so does the natural sap that nourished it.
This protection can be and is achieved by paint, but paint hides the natural beauty of the wood.
To show the natural beauty of wood, transparent wood finishes are needed – wood finishes that last, protect the wood and enhance the lustre and grain by nourishing it.
All our tests on the current oils and coating products left me disappointed in the final look and the ongoing maintenance.
This exciting technology will be a game-changer for the industry, and we’re excited about the results we’ve achieved with this innovative technology.
Come and see it for yourself and compare us to the others.”

How Woodoc Supercedes All Coating Alternatives
Woodoc works in harmony with the wood allowing it to breathe naturally just like bark, helping to combat ageing and deterioration.
*Solvent Based Sealers: to be cleaned down with steel wool and mineral turpentine, then resealed with appropriate sealer. Remove dust and loose particles.
*Water-Borne Sealers: to be sanded lightly with fine sandpaper to key the surface and ensure proper binding between the old and new layers. Remove dust and loose particles.
